7,000 new hotel rooms in Germany in 2008
Relaunch of leading web database for hotel construction projects – More than 160 new hotel projects added in November
In Germany the number of new hotel construction projects is increasing evermore. 60 new first class and luxury hotels with more than 7,000 new hotel rooms have been opened this year, e.g. the Capella Hotel Breidenbacher Hof in Dusseldorf/Northrhine-Westfalia or the Swissôtel in Bremen or design hotels like The George in Hamburg and Factory Hotel in Muenster. According to tophotelprojects.com® another 25 new hotels with over 2,600 rooms are scheduled to be opened until the end of this year. Some of the new luxury hotels in Germany are:
· Fleming’s Hotel Deluxe Frankfurt/Main (166 rooms, opening in April 2008, www.flemings-hotels.com)
· Capella Breidenbacher Hof Dusseldorf (95 rooms, opening in May 2008, www.breidenbacherhofcapella.de)
· RIVA Konstanz (45 rooms, opening in June/2008, www.hotel-riva.com; 6 luxury suites will be added in 2009)
· Swissôtel Bremen (230 rooms, opening in Sept 2008, www.swissotel.de)
· The George Hamburg (125 rooms, opening in Oct 2008, www.thegeorge-hotel.de)
· Factory Hotel Muenster (144 rooms, opening in Nov 2008, www.factoryhotel.de)
In Germany for the next year 174 hotels with more than 27,000 rooms are scheduled for opening. The number of luxury hotels will increase by 21. Outstanding hotel construction projects are the Movenpick Hotel Dusseldorf (201 rooms, opening in January 2009), Hilton Airrail Center Frankfurt/Main (247 rooms, opening in February 2009) and the Golf & Wellness Resort Budersand on Sylt Island (79 rooms, opening in May 2009).

With a fresh-up of the look and new technical features, tophotelprojects.com® started in November this year the new web platform. New research functions are “My Search” (save the research results with individual headlines), search by keywords and listing of new data entries (since last login session).
On tophotelprojects.com® are over 3,000 hotel construction projects are listed with details to the number of rooms, scheduled date of opening, key contact person for supply and much more. Every month approx. 150 new hotel construction projects are added and about 350 existing data entries are updated (e.g. date of opening, hotel company).
